MADISON, Wis. - TelAve -- This holiday season, a new indie party game is flipping the script on phones at family gatherings. On Your Mark is a browser-based group game built for living rooms, family rooms, and anywhere people are gathered and looking for something fun to do together. "Everybody's already got a phone in their hand at holiday get-togethers," said Tony Herman, creator of On Your Mark. "Instead of fighting that, I wanted a way to use those phones to pull people together. Nobody is excited about installing yet another app, so I designed On Your Mark to run right in the browser."

On Your Mark is intentionally simple to start. There are no app downloads, updates, or accounts required for players. If you can open a browser, you can play.

The basic flow is straightforward:

• The host visits OnYourMark.app in any modern browser.
• They create a game and get a short room code.
• Players go to the same site, enter the code, and join instantly.
• The host starts a round, and everyone gets fun, low-pressure missions to complete.

"I wanted this to be the game you can suggest without a 10-minute tech explanation," Herman said. "Someone says, 'Let's try this thing real quick,' you pull up the site, share the code, and you're playing. That's it."
