~ Colorado Springs Mayor Reflects on America's 250th Birthday and the Promise of the American Experiment

In a letter released today, Mayor Yemi Mobolade of Colorado Springs shared his reflections on the meaning of Independence Day and the 250th birthday of the United States. As a naturalized citizen and the first elected Black mayor of Colorado Springs, Mayor Mobolade spoke from the heart about his love for this country and its promise.
