On July 21, PitPat will officially launch the Run for Freedom 2KM, a global virtual running event designed for runners of all fitness levels. The short-distance race encourages participants to challenge their personal best while competing against athletes from around the world in real time.

The event features a competitive prize pool. The 1st place finisher will receive $30, followed by $25 for 2nd place, $20 for 3rd, $10 for 4th, and $8 for 5th. Participants finishing 6th–10th will earn $6, 11th–20th will receive $4, and 21st–50th will be awarded $2.

To ensure fair competition, male and female runners will be ranked separately according to their selected gender. In the latest version of PitPat, users may change their gender setting only once, so participants are encouraged to confirm their selection carefully before registering for the race.

Runners may join the event multiple times to improve their performance and refresh their best result. However, each participant is eligible to receive only one cash reward from the competition.

In addition to cash prizes, the first 100 finishers will each receive an Elite Showdown Ticket, providing exclusive access to one of PitPat's signature competitive events and creating even more opportunities to race against top performers worldwide.
