NEW YORK - TelAve -- PoQrr today announced PoQrr v1 "August," the first major version milestone for its new digital medium for preserving personal history.

Launched in late 2025, PoQrr is built around individual digital objects called PoQs. Each PoQ brings together an Event—the shared context of a moment—and a Response—the individual experience of it—to preserve not only what happened, but what it meant to the person who was there.

PoQrr v1 brings the medium's core components together under a defined version, including PoQ construction and product rules, persistent PoQ identity, Grace and attribution, portable PoQs and embeds, and PoQrr's developing archival intelligence. August also marks the first functional version of the PoQrr mobile application, extending PoQ creation and experience beyond the web.

PoQrr v1 is accompanied by its first concept paper, establishing the conceptual framework behind the medium and its approach to personal history.

August also includes Booby v1 "Sandro," the first major version of PoQrr's AI archivist. Booby helps people develop PoQs through conversation, gathering and organizing information about an experience while maintaining the context of the record being created.

"PoQrr is ready to help people archive their own history today, and we're excited to show what it can become from here," said Robin Zhou, founder of PoQrr.

The name August reflects both the month of the milestone and a point of fruition for PoQrr—the first defined version of the medium and the beginning of its next season of development.

Private Beta and Selective Registration

PoQrr v1 is entering private beta, with registration selectively open to creators, collaborators and early users.

PoQrr is available on the web. Its mobile application is functional and currently available to a limited testing group ahead of broader release. Booby v1 "Sandro" is also available as part of the private beta.

Development will continue across PoQ construction, rendering, archival intelligence, creator tools and physical extensions as PoQrr moves toward broader availability.
