NASHUA, N.H. - TelAve -- Laurie Masiello, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nashua-based Predictive Monitor (https://www.predictivemonitor.com/), has been named a 2026 Outstanding Woman in Business by New Hampshire Business Review, recognizing more than four decades of entrepreneurship, leadership and contributions to the life sciences industry.

Masiello and her husband, John, began their first company from their home in 1984. Masy BioServices grew from that small family business to an organization employing more than 200 people and serving worldwide pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.

After selling Masy BioServices in 2021, the Masiellos could have retired. Instead, they launched Predictive Monitor in Nashua, New Hampshire, to address a problem they had experienced firsthand in the life sciences industry: protecting critical refrigeration systems and the potentially life-saving products stored inside them.

Predictive Monitor's OverShield® predictive analytics solution uses sensor data and baseline performance to identify developing refrigeration-system problems before they become costly or catastrophic failures.

"I'm incredibly honored by this recognition, and what makes this especially meaningful to me is thinking about how much has changed for women in business since I first started," said Masiello. "I remember as a little girl being told that girls couldn't win. I never accepted that. I want young women coming into business and STEM today to know that not only can they win — they can lead, build companies, change industries and elevate the women around them."

Throughout her career, Masiello has also worked to create opportunities for the next generation of life sciences professionals. She became the first female President of the New England Chapter of the Parenteral Drug Association and has held leadership roles with multiple industry and community organizations, supported scholarship programs for biotech students, and mentored students and young professionals.

Her leadership has earned praise from colleagues across the business and life sciences communities.

Today, Masiello continues to lead Predictive Monitor's worldwide growth from Nashua, New Hampshire, encouraging life sciences to shift from reacting to refrigeration failures to predicting and preventing them. As part of its commitment to continuing to invest in New Hampshire life sciences and staying in the community that supported it from the start, Predictive Monitor will move to a new Nashua headquarters in October that will double its space and help further enhance its global impact.
