TORONTO - TelAve -- Seapines AI today released ReelLife Hockey version 1.2.0 on the Apple App Store. The update introduces Team highlights — a new way for hockey families to focus an automatic highlight reel on one side of the ice — while keeping the app's privacy promise: game video is processed entirely on the iPhone or iPad and is never uploaded to Seapines AI or third-party servers.

ReelLife Hockey already turns full game recordings into shareable MP4 reels by finding goals, saves, and other big plays on-device. Version 1.2.0 adds Highlight Focus so users can choose All highlights (a balanced reel of the whole game) or Team highlights, which favors plays for one squad based on jersey look. When Team highlights is on, My team lets users pick the side that matches their players: darker vs lighter.

Team highlights is included with ReelLife Hockey Pro.

"Parents don't want every scramble at both nets — they want the plays that matter for their kid's team," said Jimmy Lo, Founder of Seapines AI. "Team highlights lets families bias the reel toward their side using how the jerseys look on camera, and switch that preference without waiting through another full analysis — all without sending footage to the cloud."

ReelLife Hockey is free to download. The free tier includes the full AI highlight pipeline, reels up to 60 seconds, moment cards, and watermarked exports. ReelLife Hockey Pro ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) adds watermark-free exports, no ads, multi-part games, custom reel lengths, Team highlights, and a full moment editor. Family Sharing is included for the first 1,000 subscribers. Through December 31, 2026, new Pro subscribers pay an introductory US$4.99/month.
