SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — Blue Shoes Publishing announces a new children's publishing collaboration between husband-and-wife team Sedrick Watkins and Antoinette Watkins.

Sedrick Watkins, writing as Cal Bryant, is a retired U.S. Navy First Class Petty Officer (E-6) with more than 20 years of military service. Today, he focuses on creating children's books that encourage imagination, courage, family connection, and lifelong learning.

His wife, Antoinette Watkins, known by her pen name Johanna Sparrow, is the founder of Blue Shoes Publishing and author of numerous books focused on education, emotional growth, and personal development.

Together, they are expanding Blue Shoes Publishing's children's division with books designed to entertain, educate, and inspire young readers.
