Strategies for Successful Aging and Retirement and Protecting Your Home, Retirement Income, Money, & Lifestyle from Self-Funding and an Incorrect Plan of Care

AMHERST, N.Y. - TelAve -- Lester "Les" Robinson, CLTC, CRPC, has donated his book, Protecting Your Money from Medicaid and Nursing Home Events, to the Hoke Library, part of the Martin County Library System. The donation supports the library's mission to provide educational resources that help individuals and families plan for successful aging, retirement, and long-term care.

Robinson's work focuses on strategies for successful aging and retirement, including how to protect one's home, retirement income, money, and lifestyle from the financial risks associated with self-funding long-term care and incorrect planning. His book addresses the growing challenges families face as they navigate Medicaid rules, nursing home costs, and long-term care decisions.

Drawing on both professional expertise and personal experience, Robinson developed the LesLTC Process℠, a planning system designed to educate and empower families while protecting their financial futures. He personally used the process while helping his own family manage Medicaid and long-term care risks—successfully preserving resources and maintaining control during a difficult time.

"Every day, families are confronted with the staggering costs of nursing homes and long-term care, and too many lose their hard-earned savings simply because they weren't given the right information," Robinson said. "Education is the most powerful tool you have. When families understand their risks and options, fear and uncertainty are replaced with confidence and control."

The LesLTC Process℠ is designed to help individuals avoid misinformation, reduce the risk of being taken advantage of, and make informed decisions that protect independence, dignity, and finances. Through education and proactive planning, families gain more choices and greater peace of mind.

"That's the power of planning," Robinson added. "And that's the power of having the right plan."

Robinson hopes that making his book available through the Hoke Library will help reach more families before a crisis occurs. "When I see families lose everything because they didn't take a few simple steps, it motivates me even more to get this message out and help as many people as possible."
