Rocky Mountain Oncology Welcomes Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist Sarah Glynn, D.O

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - TelAve -- CASPER, Wyo. – Rocky Mountain Oncology is pleased to welcome Sarah Glynn, D.O., a board-certified radiation oncologist, to its team of cancer specialists. Dr. Glynn brings extensive training in advanced radiation therapies, a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine, and a patient-centered approach focused on compassion, communication, and personalized care. She will see patients at Rocky Mountain Oncology's Casper and Lander locations.
A native of Indiana, Dr. Glynn's passion for medicine developed early as she witnessed the meaningful impact her father and grandfather, both radiologists, had on the lives of their patients. Inspired by their example, she pursued a career dedicated to helping individuals facing complex medical challenges.
Dr. Glynn earned her medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California, completed her Internal Medicine internship at Riverside Community Hospital, and went on to complete her Radiation Oncology residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. She further advanced her expertise through an intensive brachytherapy fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in gynecologic and prostate brachytherapy.

Throughout her career, Dr. Glynn has emphasized the importance of tailoring treatment plans to each patient's unique diagnosis, goals, and circumstances. She believes that exceptional care is built on a foundation of trust, education, and open communication, empowering patients to make informed decisions throughout their treatment journey.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Glynn has pursued research aimed at advancing cancer care and improving patient outcomes. Her research interests include developing genomic signatures to better predict brain metastases and patient outcomes, improving care for patients with extrapulmonary small cell carcinoma, and leading quality improvement initiatives that strengthen collaboration among specialties to enhance radiation treatment planning.
"Every patient deserves cancer care that is both scientifically advanced and deeply personal," said Dr. Glynn. "I believe in taking the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure patients feel supported and informed throughout treatment.
