ALBANY, N.Y. - TelAve -- Sagan Cunningham of Albany, New York, is facing criminal charges in Pennsylvania in connection with an alleged conspiracy involving human trafficking and child sexual abuse material, according to court records and authorities.

Cunningham is accused of conspiring with Pittsburgh-area defendant Oleksiy Levkovskyy. Levkovskyy was recently arrested and is facing charges of human trafficking and possession of child sexual abuse material. Investigators allege that more than 500 gigabytes of digital files were recovered during the investigation.

According to the criminal complaint, Cunningham is facing a charge related to the possession of child sexual abuse material, as well as a separate charge of attempted destruction of property. The charging documents allege that the defendants' actions were connected, although authorities have not released additional details about the alleged conspiracy.

Cunningham was arrested in New York and is currently awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania. Authorities say Cunningham will be returned to the Pittsburgh area, where the case is expected to proceed in court. Cunningham was booked on $500,000 bail, according to court records.

The FBI is also involved in the investigation. Local and federal investigators are reviewing digital files, electronic devices and other evidence connected to the case. Investigators have not disclosed how the evidence was obtained or provided additional details about the alleged trafficking activity.

The U.S. Attorney's Office is reviewing the case, according to authorities. Federal charges could be filed as the investigation continues, but no federal charges have been announced at this time. Any federal prosecution would be separate from the state charges currently pending in Pennsylvania.

Authorities have not released the identity of any alleged victim. They also have not disclosed whether additional arrests or charges are expected.
