San Diego Kids Kick Off Healthy Families Challenge
TelAve News/10905257
It's All About the Kids® invites the community to take the $20 Challenge, support local families and help start a movement
SAN DIEGO - TelAve -- It's All About the Kids® Foundation (IAATK) is challenging everyone to get healthier — and give back.
The new Healthy Families Initiative Challenge kicked off with students at High Tech Middle Mesa, where middle schoolers learned about ingredients, nutrition, making healthier food choices and created Healthy Snack Guides for Kids.
Now, the Challenge is going countywide through October 31, 2026.
Supporters can join by making a $20 donation on the IAATK website at itsallaboutthekids.org and will receive a special gift from The Trash Panda Food Scanner App, the Initiative's Founding Nutrition Technology Partner. Funds raised help IAATK fight food insecurity while giving San Diego families food today and tools to build stability tomorrow.
Donate $20. Get a gift. Help a family. Challenge someone else.

IAATK is also recruiting Youth Ambassadors to help lead the movement by creating videos and social content, participating in community events and inspiring kids and adults to make healthier choices.
"When kids get excited about making healthier choices, they can influence their entire family," said Angela Brannon-Baptiste, Co-Founder, CEO and President of the Board of IAATK. "We're giving young people a voice — and challenging adults to follow their lead."
The Healthy Families Initiative is powered by community partnerships with the Trash Panda Food Scanner App and The Buzz Marketing Co., Official Media Partner.
