What happens when we ask not just how we best learn—but who decides what we learn, and why it matters?
BAY AREA, Calif. - TelAve -- What happens when we ask not just how we best learn—but who decides what we learn, and why it matters?
Season 2 of Educating to Be Human, hosted by the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME) founder and CEO Lisa Petrides, is here and it's more urgent than ever. This season takes listeners to the heart of the questions shaping learning today: Who controls access to knowledge? How do embodied experiences transform learning? And why is education key to building resilience and human connection?
Bringing together guests who are part thinker, part doer, and part visionary, Petrides invites guests whose work pushes boundaries and calls on us to reimagine education as a force for possibility. These are the people behind the systems—and the breakthroughs—driving change.

"In this season, we're looking at power, participation, and the ways learning is rooted in movement, memory, and the body," says Petrides. "This isn't just about education reform - it's about reclaiming our collective future."
An initiative of the Institute for tISKME, Educating to Be Human is a podcast for those who want to learn from the stories, systems, and people reshaping how we educate to be human–through empathy, imagination, and action.
New episodes are released every other Tuesday on all major platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
