Marie is near 19.9N, 117.1W with 100 mph winds, moving west-northwest at 9 mph. Both systems are offshore. The Central Pacific listing includes Hurricane Lowell near 13.4N, 159.6W, several hundred miles south of Hawaii, with maximum sustained winds of 125 mph, a minimum pressure of 947 mb, and westward movement at 9 mph. Interests in the Hawaiian Islands should continue to monitor the Central Pacific Hurricane Center, local National Weather Service offices, and county emergency managers. A forecast track is not a landfall declaration.

In the Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, and Gulf of America, the NHC Tropical Weather Outlook says tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next seven days. In the Eastern Pacific, a disturbance offshore of southwestern Mexico has a near-zero chance of formation through 48 hours and a 50 percent chance through seven days. It is expected to remain well offshore if it develops.
