RALEIGH, N.C. - TelAve -- RALEIGH, N.C.
Small Group Soccer is pleased to announce the launch of its youth soccer training program in Raleigh, North Carolina, with sessions beginning May 18, 2026. The program offers focused, small-group training for players ages 10-18 who are ready to develop their game in a structured, purposeful environment.

Unlike large group clinics or team practices, Small Group Soccer keeps group sizes small by design allowing coaches to recreate realistic match situations, provide individual feedback, and ensure every player gets meaningful repetitions. Sessions run 75 to 90 minutes and follow a progressive structure, with each session building directly on the last.

Meet the Coach
Small Group Soccer is led by Coach Marcus, who brings more than eight years of coaching experience at the youth club and semi-professional level. A former College of William & Mary player and First Team All-Conference and All-State honoree, Marcus has served as a Youth Academy Director, North Carolina Olympic Development Program Coach, and Assistant Coach for Oak City United of the WPSL.

How Training Works
Before the first session begins, Coach Marcus works with players and families to identify specific focus areas. From there, every session follows a deliberate structure: a technically-focused warm-up, introduction and refinement of a technical component, and competitive application in realistic training environments. Nothing is filler. Every minute has a purpose.

Sessions are progressive, meaning skills and concepts carry forward from one session to the next, creating continuity and measurable growth over time.

Who Should Enroll
Small Group Soccer works with girls and boys ages 10-18 across all skill levels. Training is especially well-suited for players with experience in competitive environments who want to sharpen their technical ability and game intelligence.

Training begins May 18, 2026. Space is limited due to the small-group format. To learn more or reserve a spot, visit https://www.smallgroupsoccer.com.
