Soreide Law Group Investigates Brokerages That Sold Defaulted DCM US Multi-Family Homes PLC Notes
TelAve News/10902024
Investors in defaulted DCM1, DCM3, and DCM4 Notes purchased through Andbanc, BCI Securities, Boreal Capital/Mora Capital, or Mora WM Securities may have FINRA arbitration claims to recover their losses.
POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - TelAve -- Soreide Law Group, a securities law firm representing investors nationwide and abroad, has opened an investigation into the sales practices of brokerage firms that recommended DCM US Multi-Family Homes PLC notes to their customers. The notes have reportedly defaulted, leaving investors with missed interest payments and unrecovered principal.
The investigation focuses on three note series: the Series 2020-DCM1 9.25% secured medium-term notes due 2025, the Series 2022-DCM3 8.75% secured medium-term notes due 2026, and the Series 2022-DCM4 floating-rate secured medium-term notes due 2025. The DCM1 offering alone totaled $100 million and was marketed to non-U.S. investors with a substantial minimum investment.

According to a January 29, 2024 written instruction sent to the trustee, Trident Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited, representatives of the selling firms acknowledged that the issuer had defaulted on interest payments across all of its notes, that the defaults had continued beyond the cure period, and that the notes were being accelerated and declared immediately due and payable.
Soreide Law Group is examining whether the financial advisors who recommended these notes accurately disclosed the nature and value of the collateral, the financial condition of the issuer, the risk of default, and the illiquidity of the investment, and whether the recommendations were suitable given each customer's circumstances and concentration levels. Depending on the facts, investors may have claims for misrepresentation, unsuitable recommendations, and failure to conduct adequate due diligence.
The firm would like to hear from investors who purchased DCM US Multi-Family Homes PLC notes through Andbanc Brokerage LLC or Andbanc Advisory LLC, BCI Securities, Inc., Boreal Capital Securities, LLC (also known as Mora Capital Securities), or Mora WM Securities, LLC.
