New Features Include AI Assistant, Interactive Maps, Wildlife Lessons, Water Quality Information, and Community Reporting Tools
Brevard County, Florida — Space Coast Water Sweep is excited to announce the largest update yet to its free conservation platform, giving residents, students, boaters, anglers, and nature enthusiasts powerful new tools to explore, protect, and learn about Florida's waterways.
Originally created to help locate and remove abandoned crab traps from the Indian River Lagoon, the Space Coast Water Sweep app has grown into a complete environmental education and community reporting platform.

"Our goal has always been simple—give everyone an easy way to become part of protecting our waterways," said Dennis Woytowitz, Founder of Space Coast Water Sweep.

Space Coast Water Sweep is a Florida nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring Florida's waterways through volunteer cleanup efforts, environmental education, technology, and community engagement. The organization works alongside volunteers, environmental organizations, schools, businesses, and government agencies to remove marine debris, recover derelict crab traps, educate the public, and promote stewardship of the Indian River Lagoon and beyond.
