FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- Sponsors and vendors are needed for Partners for Breast Cancer Care's (PfBCC) annual Human Pink Ribbon event from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21.
The community event, a heartwarming display of unity in the fight against breast cancer, will take place at Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers. Together, hundreds of participants will gather with pink umbrellas to form a massive Human Pink Ribbon, symbolizing hope, healing and the power to save lives. Pink umbrellas will be available for purchase at the event for $25. Past participants are invited to bring pink umbrellas from previous Human Pink Ribbon events and participate for $15.
"Our annual Human Pink Ribbon event is a reminder that breast cancer awareness is important year-round, not just in October," said Janet Darnell, executive director of Partners for Breast Cancer Care. "This display of camaraderie during National Cancer Prevention Month gives our supporters a chance to come together and fight for what matters: making sure underserved individuals in our community have a chance at a fulfilling life, cancer-free."
