Springfield: Public hearing on FY2026 funds and HUD Annual Action Plan Jan. 5

~ The City Council and the Citizens Advisory Committee for Community Development (CACCD) of Springfield, Missouri will be holding a joint public hearing on Monday, January 5, 2026 at the Springfield Regional Police and Fire Training Center. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the proposed use of funds for the city's Fiscal Year 2026 and its U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) FY 2026 Annual Action Plan.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm and will cover various topics including the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and proposed activities for the upcoming fiscal year. Members of the public are invited to attend and provide their comments on these matters.
For those who are unable to attend in person, further information can be obtained by contacting the Department of Planning and Development at the Busch Municipal Building or by calling (417) 864-1031. The department is located at 840 Boonville Avenue, P.O. Box 8368 in Springfield.
