WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. - TelAve -- WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. String Cubed, Inc. has published a page describing the Manifester, a home fabrication device it is developing. The page is at stringcubed.com/manifester.
According to the company, the Manifester is designed to take a spoken request, offer materials and levels of detail, and print the object without a slicer or files. It is designed to work from powder in sealed single-material cartridges rather than from filament, and to use one nozzle that opens and closes like a camera diaphragm to print both broad parts and fine detail. String Cubed plans to bring the TimeMass line of functional materials, which Timeplast makes and sells, into cartridges.
