~ Fort Worth, TX- Governor Greg Abbott has recently announced the appointment of H. Dustin "Dusty" Fillmore, III as the new Judge of the 236th Judicial District Court in Tarrant County. Fillmore's term is set to expire on December 31, 2026.

Fillmore, a Fort Worth native, is an accomplished attorney and partner at The Fillmore Law Firm, L.L.P. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role as judge. He is a member of several prestigious organizations including the State Bar of Texas, The Federalist Society, Federal Bar Association, and the Tarrant County Bar Association.

In addition to his legal career, Fillmore also dedicates his time to volunteering with AVENEW ministry at Christ Chapel Bible Church. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Baylor University and a Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law.
