Therapy Companion Launches AI Therapist Designed to Support Users 24/7

TelAve News/10906124
TWICKENHAM, U.K. - TelAve -- Therapy Companion, a new AI therapist app, has officially launched, giving users access to an AI-powered space to talk through problems, reflect on their thoughts and receive practical support whenever they need it.

The app has been developed around the idea that support shouldn't necessarily stop when an in-person therapy session ends. Therapy Companion allows users to continue reflecting on issues between appointments, or use the service independently when they need somewhere to start working through a problem.

Its AI therapist, Eleanor, has been developed to handle conversations covering a broad range of issues, including anxiety, addiction, self-esteem, body image and family problems, alongside many other personal challenges.

More than an AI conversation

Therapy Companion is designed to turn conversations into something users can return to and build upon.

A free daily check-in allows users to record their current mood and discuss any problems they're experiencing, providing feedback and practical support based on what they share.

Conversations are also stored securely, giving users the option to revisit previous discussions. This could be particularly useful for people attending in-person therapy who want to remember something they discussed with the AI and bring it up during their next appointment.

The app can also generate a personalised careplan based on conversations with Eleanor, providing advice and techniques intended to help users manage the issues they have discussed.

No subscription required

Therapy Companion has launched with a pay-as-you-go pricing model, avoiding the recurring subscriptions used by many mental health apps.

Users can purchase 3 days for £4.99, 7 days for £7.99 or 14 days for £13.99, allowing them to use the service without committing to a monthly plan.

The app is now available on the Apple App Store.

Therapy Companion is intended to complement professional therapy rather than replace qualified mental health professionals. For users looking for an accessible AI therapist to talk to between appointments, or simply somewhere to begin exploring what's troubling them, the service provides support on demand.

Therapy Companion is available now at therapy-companion.net.
