The initiative supports homeless veterans and isolated elderly individuals through a direct, person-to-person meal-sharing model.

The program launched Dec. 22, 2025, in Wilmington, N.C., and is aimed at community helpers and corporate donors seeking a practical way to address food insecurity. Each kit allows participants to prepare one meal for themselves and a second meal for someone in need using marinara sauce from Marry Me Marinara and penne pasta intended for sharing.

The tukr box® model follows a one-for-one structure: for every meal kit sold, one shared meal is made possible for a homeless veteran, elderly neighbor or individual facing food insecurity. National data indicates approximately 30 percent of the homeless population in the United States are veterans, a statistic that continues to guide the organization's mission.
