39 States Complete.11 States Remain. Noah Coughlan begins his 5th Run across America, a final 5,500 Mile Trek running solo with an American Flag flown by the United States Air Force in October 2025.

BANGOR, Maine - TelAve -- On a historic quest to cross all 50 U.S. States on foot, Noah Coughlan will begin his fifth Run across the continental United States in Lubec, Maine on Saturday, December 6, 2025. To avoid mountains and the harsher winter weather, his route will take him along the coastal towns south of Bangor and Augusta through Portland and into New Hamphire and Vermont.

The 3,500 mile run from Atlantic to Pacific will end in May 2026 at the Pacific Ocean in Oregon, completing all lower 48 continental States. Noah will continue with 1000 miles across Alaska in June, and culminate on Independence Day 2026 after completing his 50th State in Hawaii.

This final journey is unique as Coughlan is already on Day 50 of 260 total days after completing three States he never crossed on previous Runs, Kansas (37), South Carolina (38), and North Carolina (39). Coughlan has run 1,022 miles so far of a projected 5,500 miles total across 20 States and 260 Days.

Noah calls this final 2026 journey the "Run For America : A Tribute to the American People", as he is running solo (again) with a special American Flag attached to his jogging stroller.
In regards to America's forthcoming 250th Birthday celebration on July 4th, 2026, Coughlan is interviewing the American People:
"What does America mean to you?"
"What does the American Flag mean to you?

On October 13-17, 2025, an American Flag was flown by the United States Air Force
by the 70th Air Refueling Squadron on a KC-46 Pegasus during an Aeromedical Evacuation mission for Noah Coughlan in honor of Run For America. Coughlan is now carrying that Flag from Maine to Oregon to Alaska to Hawaii.

Coughlan is finding high success as he has completed numerous TV, radio, and media interviews, interviewed one WWII Veteran, and was invited by the Coast Guard to meet their active duty personnel in North Carolina. Coughlan has also met with Mayors and elected officials, and spoken to schools and students along the way.

His efforts are impactful and heartfelt as he takes time to document the journey and the American People through social media, filmmaking, and storytelling while encouraging unity and highlighting the enduring spirit of our Nation with a renewed appreciation for America's shared history.
