Leading this initiative is Luis Mota, who has been appointed as the Director of Film & Event Development by Visit Spokane. With over 20 years of experience in touring, venue management, and entertainment industries, Mota brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. He will be responsible for identifying and recruiting film and television productions as well as major events. Additionally, he will build relationships with industry decision-makers and promote Spokane's locations and workforce.

Mota will work closely with the City of Spokane's Community and Economic Development Division to coordinate with producers and navigate city processes.
