What 29,000 Radio Transmissions Taught Privateer's AI Dispatcher

TelAve News/10907861
Privateer shares lessons from 105 days of AI Dispatch records, including radio acknowledgments, human-reviewed transcript corrections, and operational limits.

TUCSON, Ariz. - TelAve -- Privateer Security Forces has published an operational report on its AI Dispatch application, drawing on 29,120 transmission records accumulated across 105 calendar days through September 25, 2026.

AI Dispatch is a separate add-on that integrates with Full Sail. It connects spoken radio traffic with operational context, supporting routine status updates, radio checks, hourly check-ins, and prompts requiring a human dispatcher's attention.

The report describes a review workspace where a person can replay recorded audio, isolate difficult passages, and correct the transcript. Approved corrections can then be reused when matching traffic arrives. At the time of the review, Privateer had saved 73 reviews and approved 47 corrections for future use. This is human-reviewed correction reuse, rather than autonomous retraining of the underlying model.

The most recent 30-day period examined, ending September 25, contained 5,323 transmission records. Of those, 1,952 recorded a successful broadcast response, 20 recorded a failed reply, and 101 recorded an hourly check-in completion being sent. Across the period, 36 transmissions carried an error record, including the failed replies.

For successful broadcast responses, the median interval from application receipt to completed processing was about 9.5 seconds; 95 percent finished within about 13.8 seconds. That interval includes sending the response and does not measure when an officer first heard the voice. A successful broadcast record also does not establish that every word was understood correctly or heard clearly.

Another 1,894 transmissions were deliberately held from routine action by checks involving transcription confidence, whether traffic addressed Dispatch, and verified duty context. The report explains why appropriate silence matters on a channel shared by working officers.

Privateer's account highlights both practical field use and the continuing need for human review, recovery controls, and attention to failed workflows.
