Where Pets Are Welcome Records £100,000 in Dog-Friendly Holiday Bookings
TelAve News/10903638
The UK dog-friendly holiday directory reached £100,000 in total booking value within three months, with cottages in Cornwall, Cumbria and beyond.
BEWDLEY, U.K. - TelAve -- Where pets are welcome, the independent UK directory of dog-friendly holiday homes, has recorded £100,000 in total booking value during its first three months.
The milestone follows a rapid start for the new website, which brings together thousands of dog-friendly cottages and holiday homes from established letting companies in one searchable place. Visitors can search by destination, compare essential property details and continue to the relevant booking provider when they find the right stay.
Where pets are welcome was created to make planning a holiday with a dog less fragmented. Although many booking websites offer a pet-friendly filter, the practical meaning of that description can vary considerably. The number and size of dogs accepted, garden security, house rules and access to suitable walks can all affect whether a property is genuinely suitable for a particular household.

A dog-friendly holiday is not simply about finding somewhere that permits a pet. It is about finding a place where the whole household can settle in and enjoy the time away. The directory is intended to help people look beyond the label, compare their options and choose accommodation that properly suits both them and their dogs.
From dog-friendly holiday homes in Cornwall (https://wherepetsarewelcome.uk/places-to-stay/england/cornwall/) to welcoming cottages throughout the Lake District (https://wherepetsarewelcome.uk/places-to-go/lake-district/), the directory helps dog owners explore some of Britain's best-loved holiday destinations without searching numerous booking websites separately.
"Reaching £100,000 in total booking value within our first three months tells us that dog owners value a simpler way to begin their search," said a spokesperson for Where pets are welcome.

"That early response is enormously encouraging. We want to bring together genuinely useful choices and help more people plan a proper holiday with every member of the household included."
Where pets are welcome is free for travellers to use. The website may receive a commission when a visitor follows a partner link and completes a booking, at no additional cost to the traveller. Properties are not featured or ranked in return for payment from property owners or booking partners.
Alongside its directory of dog-friendly holiday accommodation, the website publishes practical destination guides and articles for dog owners through its Off the Lead section.
