SIRMAUR, India - TelAve -- Demonstrating ongoing support and recognition of the valuable contribution and commitment that The Kalgidhar Society makes to humanity irrespective of caste, colour, creed or religion; World Humanity Commission headquartered in New York, USA has awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to this Himachal Pradesh based educational and social development NGO.

The Society has received the Appreciation Certificate for 'promoting the lessons of Humanity throughout the world' and the same will be displayed in their various offices. The WHC took an appreciative note of the low-cost values-based education being provided to around 70,000 rural children in North India through 129 Schools (Akal Academies), a large & impactful woman empowerment drive to skill-up 2500 (and growing) rural girls with Teachers Training, consistent humanitarian relief & rehabilitation efforts undertaken by the Society especially during the Kashmir Earthquake in 2005, the Kerala Floods in 2018, the Punjab Floods in 2019 and the recent Free Food distribution to migrant labourers and Sikligars during the COVID lockdown. A unique model of synthesis of modern scientific and spiritual education is imparted to the students regardless of caste, creed, region, religion and social status.

The World Humanity Commission is a New York based organization dedicated to champion the developmental and humanitarian cause, working towards the creation of a safe and better society by promoting humanitarian consciousness and service towards the sustainability of universal peace.

The certificate was announced by Master Onkar Batra, Council of young Ambassadors, India - World Humanity Commission, a child Prodigy himself, who is also the world's Youngest Author and world's youngest webmaster. Onkar has been awarded various awards including the India's Most prestigious & highest civilian award for Children i.e Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2020 by President of India.
