WORLD'S FIRST CO-ED TEAM SPORT BRINGS LIVE COMPETITION TO LAKELAND

WHAT
The United Grid League will bring four live matches to Lakeland on Saturday, June 20, as part of its 2026 season.

Grid is a race-based team sport where men and women compete together on the same team. Athletes race head-to-head through a series of weightlifting, gymnastics, sprinting and endurance events.

The Lakeland event follows the league's season opener in Miami and will feature eight teams from across the country, including Florida-based teams South Beach Palms, Fort Lauderdale Lions, SWFL Sharks, and Tampa Bay Brigade.

Now in its 10th season, the United Grid League has grown to 1.9 million followers across social media platforms and generated more than 395 million video views. A single broadcast of the league's 2024 championship drew more than 450,000 views on YouTube. Across league broadcasts, viewers watch an average of 20 to 25 minutes per stream.
