BROWNSVILLE, N.Y. — In a groundbreaking partnership, the Central Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation (CBEDC) and ENTRELETE®️, an AI-powered entrepreneurship platform, have launched the first-ever U.S. middle school program teaching sports business, NIL monetization, and sustainability to New York City public school students.
The pilot, taking place at Ascend Charter School in Brownsville, introduces 39 students to ENTRELETE®️'s Ai Mobile Platform curriculum. The initiative is part of NYC's SONYC BIZ program, within the Department of Youth and Community Development's after-school framework.
First of Its Kind: Teaching Ownership to the Next Generation
This innovative effort marks the nation's first to equip 6th–8th graders with skills in:
