GLENDALE, Calif. - TelAve -- Independent filmmaker, screenwriter, and world athlete Crystal Manning has officially received a nomination for Best Independent Short Film (Hollywood) for her project FLOWERZ at the upcoming 10th Annual HAPA.

The official notification was issued by the Board of Directors of the HAPAwards and the I Dream 4 All Foundation. Founded in 2017, the HAPAwards celebrates extraordinary achievements across cinema, music, comedy, fashion, and social media, bridging the cultural and creative gap between Africa and the international entertainment community. Celebrating its milestone decade edition, the theme for the 2026 ceremony is "Connecting Kingdoms To Development & Prosperity."

Written and directed by Manning, FLOWERZ has distinguished itself within independent filmmaking circles through its poignant narrative, visionary direction, and exceptional ensemble performances.

"Bringing FLOWERZ to fruition from the original script to directing our incredible cast and crew has been an extraordinarily fulfilling creative mission," stated Crystal Manning, Writer and Director. "To have our film recognized on an international platform like the HAPAwards—an organization dedicated to cultural enrichment, creative excellence, and philanthropic empowerment through the I Dream 4 All Foundation—is an incredible honor for our entire production team."
