Actor Jason Weaver Partners with Melanin60 Skincare for New Campaign Centered on Confidence
TelAve News/10906561
The actor and entertainer brings his authentic approach to self-care to the Black-owned skincare brand's latest campaign, launching September 15
ATLANTA - TelAve -- -ATLANTA, Ga. — Melanin60 Skincare, a Black-owned skincare brand focused on simple, plant-based skincare, today announced its partnership with actor and entertainer Jason Weaver for a new campaign centered on making skincare a consistent and approachable part of everyday self-care.
Known for a career spanning television, film and music, Weaver brings the same authenticity and relatability that have connected him with audiences across generations to the Melanin60 partnership.
Rather than approaching the collaboration as a traditional celebrity endorsement, Melanin60 gave Weaver an opportunity to experience the products before the campaign shoot and begin incorporating them into his own skincare routine. That experience became the foundation for conversations around skincare, confidence, consistency and investing in yourself.
"To see the positive effects that the product has on my skin, Melanin60 actually is a product that I enjoy using. That's why I'm honored and so happy to be working with Melanin60," said Weaver.
For Melanin60 founder and CEO Edward Griffin, finding a partner who genuinely connected with the brand and its products was an important part of developing the campaign.

"Jason reflects the authenticity, confidence and cultural connection that Melanin60 represents," said Griffin. "We didn't want this to simply be about putting a familiar face next to our products. We wanted someone who could experience the brand for himself and have a real conversation about skincare and self-care. Jason was a natural fit."
At the center of the campaign is Jason Weaver's Melanin60 Routine, a simple four-step skincare regimen built around cleansing, refreshing, treating and moisturizing. The routine features Melanin60's Honey & Rose Face Wash, Lemon & Aloe Mist, Wilda Vitamin C Serum and Soothing Face Cream.
The campaign reinforces one of Melanin60's core beliefs: healthy-looking skin doesn't have to be complicated. By focusing on a routine that is straightforward and easy to maintain, the partnership encourages consumers — particularly men who may be newer to skincare — to view taking care of their skin as another part of taking care of themselves.
The collaboration also reflects Weaver's support for Black entrepreneurship and Black-owned businesses.
"We should utilize our platforms and our voices to help elevate and amplify Black-owned companies that are out here providing great products and great services," Weaver said.
The Jason Weaver x Melanin60 campaign includes original photography, video, behind-the-scenes content and conversations with Weaver about skincare, confidence and self-care.
