America's Boating Channel® Releases New Video Explaining Give-Way and Stand-On Vessel Navigation Rules
TelAve News/10896427
RALEIGH, N.C. - TelAve -- America's Boating Channel® has released a new educational video designed to help recreational boaters better understand navigation rules governing give-way and stand-on vessels, an essential component of safe boating practices.
The new video explains how operators should respond when vessels encounter one another on the water, including crossing, meeting, and overtaking situations. Viewers learn which vessel is required to maneuver and which vessel should maintain course and speed under the Navigation Rules, often referred to as the "Rules of the Road" for boaters.
Produced by America's Boating Channel, the United States Power Squadrons' award-winning boating safety video service, the presentation uses clear explanations and practical examples to help boaters confidently apply these rules in real-world situations.
"Understanding give-way and stand-on responsibilities is fundamental to collision avoidance and safe navigation," said John O'Reilly, Executive Director of America's Boating Channel. "This video provides boaters with an easy-to-understand overview of rules that every operator should know before getting underway."
