Smith brings experience as former foster parent, wealth advisor
FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- A.N.A.'s Friends has added Chris Smith to its Board of Directors, a group of visionary leaders that help the nonprofit further its mission of serving and supporting abused, neglected and abandoned youth in Southwest Florida.
Smith is a senior vice president and private wealth advisor at FineMark Bank & Trust. He earned his bachelor's degree from Centre College and an MBA from Stetson University and also completed the Florida Bankers Association Trust School and Graduate Trust School programs.
The Board of Directors for A.N.A.'s Friends is responsible for program oversight, fundraising, event coordination and public awareness campaigns.
"We have a highly engaged and dedicated Board of Directors, and Chris is a great addition who comes to us with a deep, personal understanding of our mission," said A.N.A.'s Friends CEO Jessica Stanfield. "As a former foster parent with his wife, Christina, he's experienced firsthand the challenges that so many families are facing and he will help our organization work tirelessly to connect vulnerable children and teens with the resources they need to heal, grow and thrive."

Smith's commitment to community service includes previous roles as a community board member with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast and advisory board member of Learning for Life.
