SAN DIEGO - TelAve -- The Grand Ritz Theater in Downtown Escondido will host the Premiere Screening of the new independent feature "Kiss the Barrel" on Saturday, February 7th at 7:00pm.

In this world of crushing debt, nature-loving fake gurus and in-law misunderstandings, steps an ex-bookie who wants to find out what's behind the suspicious deaths of his sister and father, all while trying to find out whether his brother-in-law's hiking club is just a front for something far more sinister.

This is the second micro-budget feature from writer-director Peter Gilabert ("Get All You Can"- Best Low Budget Film, Los Angeles Motion Picture Festival, 2020) and was shot entirely in San Diego County. The new film stars Jamie Penry (Get All You Can, 2020), Sherilynn Rauschkolb (Almighty Zeus, 2022) and Velacio Flores  (You Picked the Wrong One, 2025),
