Altshuler began building online in 1996 during the early days of the web. In December 2006, he acquired the Bizity.com and Biziti.com domains as part of a long-term vision focused on helping people and organizations better represent themselves online.

Economic challenges following the 2008 financial crisis, changing technologies, and the realities of building an ambitious platform extended the timeline, but the vision remained consistent.

Today, Bizity brings together profiles, content, community participation, discovery tools, and business resources in a single platform designed to help people showcase their work, highlight their experience, promote businesses, support causes, and build relationships around shared interests and goals.
