BlockchainWork Closes Seed 2 Round - USD 142K from Japanese Strategic Investors
TelAve News/10897833
HO CHI MINH CITY, Viet Nam - TelAve -- BlockchainWork, Vietnam's leading blockchain talent community, has officially announced the completion of its Seed 2 funding round, raising a total of nearly USD 142,000 from 4 strategic investors based in Japan.
Notably, 3 of the 4 investors in this round previously backed BlockchainWork in the Seed 1 round (USD 87,000, completed in 2024) - reflecting investors' sustained confidence in the team and the company's long-term growth strategy.
Funding from the Seed 2 round will be focused on three strategic priorities: (1) expanding the candidate and employer network to become the dominant blockchain talent platform in Vietnam; (2) upgrading products and operations with an AI-first approach; and (3) developing an international partner ecosystem targeting Asian markets - particularly Japan and Singapore.
Alongside the fundraising, BlockchainWork signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Open Campus (Animoca Brands ecosystem) in April 2026, and welcomed an exchange intern from Singapore Management University (SMU) in May - further strengthening its international presence. As a member of both the Vietnam Blockchain and Digital Assets Association (VBA) and the Japan Blockchain Association (JBA), BlockchainWork currently operates a network of more than 20,000 candidates and 300+ corporate partners.

Japan is one of Asia's most prominent Web3 ecosystem markets. This ongoing investment relationship opens a direct connection channel between Vietnam's blockchain talent and job opportunities and technology partners in Japan. Vietnam ranks 4th globally in crypto adoption (Chainalysis, 2025). Resolution 05/2025/NQ-CP (September 2025) and the Digital Technology Industry Law (effective 2026) are creating an early-entry window for foreign companies including Japanese firms.
With the Seed 2 round completed, BlockchainWork aims to consolidate its leading position in Vietnam's blockchain talent sector while expanding its influence across the Asian region. Vietnam - with a young workforce of over 101 million people, an internet penetration rate of 84.2%, and a startup ecosystem ranked 5th in Southeast Asia (Startup Blink, 2025) - is ideally positioned to become Asia's blockchain talent hub.
