Boston: Halloween 2024 at BCYF

~ Boston, MA - As Halloween approaches, the Boston Centers for Youth and Families (BCYF) have announced a variety of fun and spooky events for children and adults of all ages. These events will take place at various BCYF centers throughout the city.
One of the most anticipated events is the Halloween Party at BCYF Gallivan on October 31 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. This party is open to children ages 5 to 13 and will feature games, music, and plenty of tricks and treats.
For those looking for a more low-key celebration, BCYF Blackstone will be hosting a Movie Night in their auditorium on October 31 from 4 to 8 p.m. Children ages 5 to 18 can enjoy a spooky movie while also receiving candy bags.
BCYF Charlestown will also be getting into the Halloween spirit with their Spooky Tunes event on October 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. Visitors can stop by the front of the center for some festive music, goodie bags, and information about upcoming programs.
Younger children can join in on the fun at BCYF Curley's Pumpkin Decorating event on October 24 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for ages 1 to 5, and from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for ages 6 to12. Each child will receive one pumpkin to decorate, so pre-registration is required.

For older adults, BCYF Gibbons Center will be hosting a Halloween Party on October 24 from noon to3 p.m. This event is open to those aged55 and older.
The BCYF Girls Leadership Corps will also be hosting their own Halloween event with a "Spooky Skate" at Chez Vous on October25 from4to7p.m.
Other events include a Halloween Arts and Crafts session at BCYF Quincy on October 31 from 5 to 6:30 p.m., a Halloween Skate Party at BCYF Leahy Holloran on October 25 from 6 to 8 p.m., and a Halloween Costume Party at BCYF Ohrenberger on October 31 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The BCYF Nazzaro center will also be hosting their annual neighborhood Halloween event on October31 from2to5p.m. This event will feature pumpkin picking, a costume crawl, inflatables, music, and games.
BCYF Perkins will be hosting their Trails to Treats Halloween Fest on October31 starting at3p.m., while BCYF Pino will be throwing a Halloween Party on October30 from5to7p.m.
Lastly, BCYF Shelburne will be giving out candy for trick or treating on October31 from4to7:30p.m., and BCYF Tynan will be hosting a Halloween Party with games, food, a bouncy house, and a costume contest on October21 from4to6p.m.
Many of these events require pre-registration, so interested individuals are encouraged to check the registration system for more information. Additional events may also be added in the coming weeks.
