Boston Parks Department's Forever Young Program for Older Adults Returns for Winter

~ Boston residents looking for a fun and active way to beat the winter blues can now take advantage of a new program offered by the city. In partnership with Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF), the program provides a welcoming indoor space for fitness and recreation.

The program, which will take place once a week on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will feature activities such as bocce, cornhole, walking, and weekly special events. The first session will begin on January 7th at the Carter Playground Bubble located at 709 Columbus Ave.

Designed to promote physical activity, mental well-being, and community engagement, each session is drop-in and does not require pre-registration. This is a great opportunity for residents to try something new while also making new friends.
