Christian Author Dara V. Rose Releases New Memoir "Born for This Name," Now Available on Amazon

A deeply personal journey through family, faith, painful truths, healing, and the courage to break silence and find your voice.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - TelAve -- Author, Bible study writer, speaker, and storyteller Dara V. Rose has released her deeply personal new memoir, Born for This Name: A Journey Through Family, Faith, and Finding My Voice, now available on Amazon.
As the youngest of eleven children raised in a prominent Christian family, Rose grew up surrounded by faith, family, and ministry. Behind that public image, however, were painful family changes, grief, abuse, rejection, silence, and the pressure to appear strong.
In Born for This Name, Rose examines how childhood experiences, family roles, church traditions, personal choices, loss, marriage, motherhood, and faith shaped the woman she became. With honesty and compassion, she explores the difference between performing strength and experiencing genuine healing.

"This book is not about exposing people for the sake of exposure," Rose said. "It is about telling the truth with compassion, understanding how our experiences shape us, and finding the courage to move forward without continuing unhealthy patterns."
Using the life cycle of a butterfly as a recurring image of transformation, Rose takes readers through a journey from innocence and silence to self-awareness, forgiveness, healing, purpose, and voice.
The memoir was written for readers navigating painful family histories, complicated faith experiences, grief, rejection, identity struggles, generational patterns, or the burden of carrying stories they have been afraid to tell.
"My hope is that readers will recognize that their stories matter," Rose said. "We cannot change what happened, but we can decide what happens next."
Beyond telling her own story, Rose invites families and faith communities to consider how they can become safer places for truth, listening, accountability, and healing. Readers are encouraged to examine what they have inherited, what they have carried, and what they are ready to release.
