Outside of Sertoma, Huether is an attorney whose practice focuses primarily on family law and consumer bankruptcy. He and his wife have one daughter. In addition to his professional career and Sertoma leadership, he serves on the City of Alexandria Planning Commission and has been actively involved in a variety of community organizations.
As International Vice President, Huether hopes to build on Sertoma's legacy by creating meaningful opportunities and partnerships for its members. He is committed to expanding the benefits of those opportunities to communities with existing Sertoma clubs while helping establish new partnerships in areas that are not yet familiar with Sertoma, further advancing the organization's mission of service.
"I know the Sertoma Board works hard for its members. I look forward to continuing that hard work and contributing to the leadership of this wonderful organization," Huether said. "I will work to ensure that every club, whether it has five members or 150, has the resources it needs to succeed and can benefit locally from the partnerships Sertoma International has established."
