This phase will involve further water main and service line connections and is anticipated to continue through Friday, March 27 at 8 a.m. Crews will return on Saturday, March 28 from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. to complete the remainder of the work for this phase with the same traffic restrictions in place.
The final phase, which is set to begin on Wednesday, April 1 at 5 a.m., will see West Second Street closed from South Walker Street to South Euclid Avenue as well as South Walker Street from the intersection of West Second Street to West First Street. This phase will involve completing a water main relocation and additional service connections and is expected to be completed by 6 p.m.
Throughout each phase of this project, the CBU staff will work closely with local traffic to maintain access to businesses and driveways whenever possible. While minor service disruptions are expected, no Boil Water Advisories are anticipated.
