Columbia: Closure of South Sinclair Road for private development roundabout construction, July 20-Aug. 20

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - South Sinclair Road will be closed between Nifong Boulevard and Muirfield Drive starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 20. The closure is necessary for the completion of a roundabout at the intersection of South Sinclair Road and West Southampton Drive as part of a private development project.
This closure follows a previous overnight closure on June 29-30 and will also result in northbound traffic on South Sinclair Road being detoured via Muirfield Drive. Drivers who need to travel south on South Sinclair Road from Nifong Boulevard are advised to follow the designated detour route through Forum Boulevard and West Southampton Drive.

To inform motorists of the closure, electronic message boards will be placed ahead of the affected area. Temporary traffic signs will also be in place to guide drivers along the detour route.
The closure is expected to last until 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, when South Sinclair Road is set to reopen. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly during this time.
