Columbia: Interested parties meeting for Green Meadows Road and Bethel Street roundabout project to be held Aug. 13

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia's Public Works department is set to host an open house meeting to discuss the proposed Green Meadows Road and Bethel Street roundabout project. The meeting will take place on Thursday, August 13th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1A at City Hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to present the design concept for a roundabout at the intersection of Green Meadows Road and Bethel Street. The project aims to replace the current intersection in order to improve safety and traffic flow. Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2028.
Residents and interested parties are encouraged to attend the open house, where they can review preliminary design concepts, ask questions, and provide feedback to City engineering staff. A public comment form will also be available at the meeting.
