(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to a shots-fired call in the early hours of July 19 in the 10 block of Old Highway 63. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim with non-life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Following the incident, Boone County sheriff's deputies located the suspect's vehicle near McKee Street and Orchard Lane. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Lorenzo Toledo from Columbia, was arrested on charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.
