Columbia Police respond to shots fired call on Triple Crown Drive

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to a shots fired call on the evening of November 26th at the 3800 block of Triple Crown Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 46-year-old Edward Brown Jr. of Columbia with gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, Brown later succumbed to his injuries. The victim's next of kin has been notified.

A 15-year-old juvenile was detained as a result of the initial investigation and is currently in custody. The case is still under investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652.
