Columbia Police respond to shots fired on Mulberry Road

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to a shots-fired call on July 24 at approximately 4 p.m. in the 2800 block of Mulberry Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment. Fortunately, a juvenile who was also present at the scene was unharmed.

According to police detectives, there are no outstanding suspects and the public is not in any danger. However, the investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652.
