THINKspot is a hands-on space that encourages creativity and experimentation. It offers free training and access to high-tech equipment for library cardholders at no cost. With four locations throughout Mesa, including the newly opened Gateway Library, THINKspot is easily accessible to the community.
Each location is equipped with a variety of tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, sewing machines, embroidery machines, vinyl cutters, and iMacs with professional video and audio editing software. However, users must complete training and sign a liability waiver before using the equipment.

For those interested in learning how to create personalized gifts using THINKspot's equipment, online trainings are available. In-person classes are also being offered this December at various locations. These include laser-cut ornaments for adults at Dobson Ranch Library and Main Library, as well as holiday card making for adults and families at Gateway Library.
Registration is required for all classes and can be done through mesalibrary.org/events. To use THINKspot equipment on their own time, individuals must have a Mesa Public Library card. These cards are free for anyone who lives in Maricopa County or has ties to the county through work or school.
