Different Worlds. Different Genres. One Creative Point of View

From the dining room to the art world, from psychological conflict to adult animation, Studio Valdivieso explores how distinctive stories can share a common emotional foundation.

NEW YORK - TelAve -- A restaurant in crisis. A young graffiti artist confronting the possibility of being forgotten. A daughter whose profession brings her into conflict with her mother. An unlikely champion emerging from a world of prejudice.

On the surface, these stories have little in common.

For Studio Valdivieso, that is precisely the point.

The independent film and television studio is developing a creative identity that moves across genres without abandoning the human questions at the center of its work.

In Little Angel, a fictionalized feature inspired by the artistic world of Angel Ortiz and Keith Haring, recognition and creative legacy become central conflicts.

Service follows a debt-ridden former restaurant prodigy attempting to restore dignity to a dysfunctional dining room while confronting his own failures.

Alphabet City explores the collision between professional judgment and family loyalty.

Amygdala enters darker psychological territory, examining the dangerous space where relief replaces choice and control becomes an illusion.

Deal With It confronts identity, desire, and resentment through an unlikely and volatile relationship, while the adult animated Business-Man places an unconventional outsider at the center of a struggle for the rights of others.

These projects differ in tone, format, and setting. Their connection lies beneath the surface.

"Genre determines the world a story inhabits," says founder Eric Valdivieso. "Character determines whether that world means anything."

For the studio, creative range is not an exercise in variety for its own sake. It is an opportunity to approach recurring human experiences from unexpected directions.

A comedy can expose a painful truth. A psychological drama can reveal an ordinary weakness. An animated story can confront questions that live-action storytelling might approach differently.

The ambition is not to make every project resemble the last.

It is to make every project unmistakably human.
