Elevate VMS Brings Modernized Agentic Platform to SIA CWS Summit, Showcasing Native AI Architecture

Introducing an industry-first agentic VMS platform built to act on workforce data
DALLAS - TelAve -- Elevate SaaS (https://www.elevatesaas.com/), a vendor management system (VMS) purpose-built for enterprise and mid-market contingent workforce programs, today made its industry debut of the modernized Elevate platform at the Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) Contingent Workforce Strategies (CWS) Summit in Dallas, Texas. The Elevate product team is at Booth #109, available to walk attendees through the platform's native agentic architecture, an approach that places AI agents at the operating layer of the vendor management system, not connected from the outside.
A NEW KIND OF VMS
The modernized Elevate platform, which launched publicly on September 14, 2026, represents a fundamental architectural shift in how a VMS operates. Rather than exposing platform data through an external AI layer or a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, Elevate built its agentic capabilities natively into the platform, with an orchestration layer, powered by MEL (My Elevate Liaison), that routes tasks to specialist agents operating inside the system 24/7.

The distinction matters. An agent that queries a VMS from the outside can surface information. An agent built into the operating layer of a VMS can act on it, distributing requisitions, running compliance checks, reconciling invoices, and redeploying contractors.
"The VMS market is dividing into two distinct paths," said Rob Morris, CEO of Elevate SaaS. "One layers AI on top of legacy infrastructure. The other rebuilds the platform with AI agents at its core. We chose the second path because it doesn't just improve existing processes, it fundamentally expands what a contingent workforce program can accomplish."
Bruce Morton, a recognized authority on workforce solutions strategy and talent supply chain innovation, commented on the architectural approach Elevate has taken, noting, "What Elevate is doing is architecturally different from the VMS market's typical approach to AI. Most vendors are bolting intelligence onto systems that already exist. This can result in better visibility, but the program still runs the same way it always did. Building agents into the orchestration and operating layers is a fundamentally new approach. It's the difference between a system that reports what is happening, and one that's actually doing the work in the program. This is a shift the contingent workforce market has needed for some time."
