ATLANTA - TelAve -- Gospel recording artist and media executive Trevone Perry continues to celebrate a remarkable year of achievements. Most recently, Perry was recognized as an inaugural Dope Men in Radio honoree during the 10th Annual SPIN Awards Weekend Experience, held October 21–24, 2026, in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

The recognition celebrated men making meaningful contributions to Christian and Gospel radio. Perry joined fellow honorees Emcee N.I.C.E., Jonas Q. Ross, Dr. Robert Barnes, Chris King, and Brian David, marking another milestone in his growing career.

Perry also took the stage alongside Destiny Diggs of Reach Network to present the Internet (Digital) Radio Announcer/Host/Personality of the Year award to Sylvia Montgomery, celebrating the accomplishments of fellow gospel broadcasters.

The honor follows an impressive year for Perry, whose station, Hands Up Radio, received a nomination for Internet Radio Station of the Year at the 41st Stellar Gospel Music Awards. Although the station did not take home the award, the nomination represented a significant achievement for Perry and his commitment to gospel broadcasting.

His success extends beyond radio. Perry's latest single, "Something Good," reached #1 on the Mediabase Gospel chart, further establishing his presence as a recording artist and demonstrating the growing support for his music.
